Abmar Barbosa Jiu-Jitsu is New England’s premiere Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, serving the Greater Central Massachusetts and Worcester area. It was formed by the partnership between Head BJJ Instructor Abmar Barbosa, and Strength & Conditioning Coach Leo Morton. Abmar and Leo first met at the beginning of 2009, where they were both serving in the same capacity at another local academy. The partnership developed over the next 6 months when Leo trained Abmar for the 2009 BJJ Pan American Games, World Championships, and Rickson Gracie Cup. After Abmar won the Rickson Cup in Japan, they decided to open their own facility. Abmar Barbosa Jiu-Jitsu is located at the RK Plaza in Hudson, MA.
